Tipo Rótulo Typeface

Inspired by Mexican hand-painted typography, or rótulo, I hand-rendered and digitized a full-majuscule roman typeface system. My observations of Mexican rótulo, a dying art due to the adaption of digital design, consisted of letters that are locky, geometric, and include either very high or very low x-heights. I included many of those features accompanied by a 45˚shadow.
I also included the tilde on the Ñ, true to the Spanish language. I featured multiple treatments of the letters, including gradients, skeletal lines, and two-tone shadows. True to the style, colors are vibrant and warm.
